Ian

The story begins in 1988, in a small Massachusetts town near the New Hampshire border. A young Ian Mansfield is taken to see George Lucas' masterpiece Willow in the theaters.  Ian, like many budding cinephiles upon their first trip to the theater, is forever changed. "The lights!" he thought. "The colors, the sound, the improbable plot and amateurish acting!" The subsequent two decades have taken Ian many places-Washington State, Los Angeles, San Francisco -- but wherever he has gone, his taste for cinemasochism has remained steadfast. Ultimately, his passion for misguided ambition at 24 frames per second is a reflection of his love of the eccentric side of the American character. In most countries, attempting to make Manos: The Hands of Fate or Killa Season would get the director institutionalized. In America it gets them funding. He currently lives in LA and attends Business School, where he is learning to destroy fun even more so than Revenge of the Red Baron.
